C9 was originally released as a limited sample run in Birthday Cake to gather real-world feedback from the RAW community. The response exceeded our expectations, with many customers requesting that it become a permanent part of our lineup. Based on that feedback, we decided to make C9 an official RAW release.
One of the most common pieces of feedback we received was that customers viewed C9 as being in a lane of its own. Rather than comparing it to other alkaloids, many users described it as having a unique profile that earned a place in their routine for entirely different reasons.
While experiences vary from person to person, customers frequently described C9 as something they reached for later in the day or as part of their evening routine. Others preferred incorporating it alongside their existing stack rather than viewing it as a replacement for anything else.
WHAT IS C9?
C9 (9-Hydroxycorynantheidine) is an indole alkaloid derivative based on corynantheidine, an alkaloid originally identified in the kratom plant.
C9 is an alkaloid derivative built on a Corynanthe-type framework known to interact with opioid receptors, primarily mu receptors, as a partial agonist, meaning it engages the receptor without fully activating it, resulting in a more moderated response.
The "9-hydroxy" designation refers to a small structural change on the molecule, where a hydroxyl (-OH) group is present at the 9 position. Even minor changes like this can influence how a compound behaves compared to its original form.
C9 is produced at the alkaloid level rather than consumed as raw plant material, meaning it is not dependent on kratom leaf itself as a finished product.

four out of five. Only because this has a very nasty solvent taste, or maybe it’s the flavor, but it’s very pungent and tastes a little off.like nail polish. I’m not saying these are dirty now.. but if they are in some sort of way, I wouldn’t be surprised. I’ve had worse so I still ate them.
It’s quite nice. Do not listen to anyone saying that it’s crap. It’s not 7 or m but it’s a seperate feeling and it’s nice! Great to stack with too. I also notice little cross tolerance or none at all which is a huge plus. Try this if you haven’t. This is much different that the crappy “proprietary blend” underdosed c9 you see in the ss.
This is the only tab I’ve tried that the flavor bothers me. It’s almost like a stomach bile flavor and when let dissolve it actually burns my throat. I can handle extremely sour stuff so wondering why this is , BUT THE EFFECTS ARE GOOD ! Great for sleep / pain , and helps turn off the racing mind. PLEASE GET c9 in more FLAVORS and higher mg !! ( a pure powder would also be so nice ! ) thanks raw team !
They were good not super strong
Been using C9 for a couple months now. I take it during evenings to help with sleep, due to longer half-life. More subtle effects than 7oh but still very relaxing. Pairs great with kava for even extra, deep relaxtion before bed. Just wish they offered a bit lower price for larger quantities.
Longtime user of 7-OH, Pseudoindoxyl, and MGM-15 alkaloids for chronic pain relief. This offering is a bit of a different feel (more "heady" if that makes sense), but it's definitely a great alternative if the Kratom-related alkaloid ban goes through!
I just wish there were more flavor and dosage options to choose from (the cherry limeade flavor is quite tasty though 😋).
